Melt in your mouth Chocolate chip cookies
These cookies are devine. It took me time to “follow” the rules when making these cookies. At the beginning I didn’t buy into all the “tips and tricks” to making cookies. For me it was just put the ingredients together and pop in the oven. But there is more to it than that. Preheat the oven, room temperature eggs, pre sifting flour. Putting all those tips and tricks together really does make or break a recipe.
I can not for the life of me make a peanut butter cookie, but these cookies, I never fail, they always turn out perfectly. This is my one and only true chocolate chip recipe and I’m not looking for any others. These cookies are tasty at room temperature, but you can nuke them in the microwave for a few seconds and they taste like they just came out of the oven.
2-1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1cup soft butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 package chocolate pudding
2 eggs room temperature
Preheat the oven 325-350. Cream the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add the chocolate pudding and mix well. Add eggs and vanilla mix well.
In another bowl mix flour and baking soda. Add the pudding mix. Add the nuts and chocolate chips.
Cook 12-15 minutes 325-350 degrees all depending on your oven. Be very CAREFUL do NOT overcook.

Notes** preheat the oven, it really makes a difference in the cooking.
Use room temperature eggs. They mix much better in the batter
